Although not well known to the general public, Les Palissades de Charlevoix mountain adventure park (operated by AventureX) is a one-of-a-kind natural jewel. Its mission is to allow people of all ages to experience an unforgettable adventure in complete safety by offering a vast range of activities (hiking, climbing, zip line, etc.) and dynamic initiation and training services. The Quatro allows you to climb a mountain cliff on a via ferrata more than 200 metres above the valley, attached to a security cable at all times. Then double your pleasure with a great 70-metre descent by abseil after first crossing a giant suspension bridge 60 metres high! You can also experience the pleasure of leaping into space on the 250-metre-long zip line overhanging the lake. You can also take advantage of lodgings in a comfortable dormitory that includes access to a common kitchen, a terrace with barbecue, and to the spa and sauna.

The Canyon Adventure package and activities offered by the Ascensation climbing school are located at the magnificent Ste. Anne Canyon, one of the most beautiful natural attractions in Canada. Only 30 minutes from Quebec City, this site includes three suspension bridges and many panoramic lookouts from which you can see amazing views of the canyon and the falls. The welcome centre includes a restaurant, picnic area and shuttle access to the site. The Canyon Adventure invites you to take a tour across suspension bridges, along pulleys and over aerial terraces, secured by safe equipment. It’s what we call the Via Ferrata. The tour ends with a river crossing along the zip line from a height of 70 metres. It’s really an experience!
