Restaurant Les Ancêtres

The adventure starts in 1971. Marie-Paule Vézina acquired from her family this superb stone house built on a land granted in 1662 by Bishop François de Laval. She could thus realise her childhood dream: receive so that she can share a cuisine of the past within a warm and genuine setting.

Then, in 1997, her son Pierre and his spouse Mireille take up the torch. Carrying on the tradition, they enjoy welcoming customers and friends, groups and families, in this restaurant where the atmosphere and decor will make you enter a festival of senses.

They invite you to Les Ancêtres to discover their haven where a mouth-watering cuisine, cooked with loving care, distinguishes itself by a happy blend between tradition and innovation where regional dishes of the past are mixed with today’s recipes full of local flavours and scents.

Throughout the years, tens of thousands of customers have sat down at Les Ancêtres for the pleasures of the palate and eyes. Located in front of Île d’Orléans’ bridge, the Montmorency Falls and the Laurentians, the restaurant offers a staggering panoramic view. Can you only imagine the sunsets?
