Festival Vue sur la Relève

An exceptional Showcase of Performing Arts!

Are you hungry for discovery, innovation and originality? From April 5 to 18, 2009, Vue sur la Relève invites you to come discover the new talents of Quebec’s performing arts, whatever the art they perform (singing, acting, dancing or circus arts). Only multidisciplinary event entirely devoted to emerging French-speaking artists from Canada and the world, Vue sur la Relève gives indeed the opportunity for young artists to present their show to a large audience and in a professional context. Throughout the years, the festival has helped the career of many recognized Quebec artists such as Pierre Lapointe, Daniel Boucher, Mes Aïeux, Fred Pellerin, Evelyne de la Chenelière, Estelle Clareton and many others.

Bringing a breath of fresh air and a unique energy, the festival has definitely become one of the most important events on the Montreal cultural scene in the past few years. Moreover, the year 2009 marks the entry of the event in Quartier des Spectacles as shows with not only be held at Maison de la culture Frontenac but also at La Tulipe, TELUS Theatre and GYMNASE.
