Created in 1995 by the cellist Denis Brott, the Montreal Chamber Music Festival greatly achieves to promote chamber music in all its forms, from classical music to jazz along with varied art disciplines such as dance, theatre and opera. The Festival which is presented inside the charming St. James Church allows the audience to get immersed in the magic of a place full of history while being initiated to chamber music thanks to talented musicians and with the help of different means of art expression. The Montreal Chamber Music Festival has distinguished itself throughout the last few years with the quality of its programme which has included renowned international artists and rising stars. The Festival which will be held from May 1st to 30, 2009, is thus the perfect occasion for every art and music lovers of all genres to attend memorable concerts in a true great atmosphere.
