Les Marchés de Noël Joliette-Lanaudière

From December 8 to 22, 2011, Les Marchés de Noël Joliette-Lanaudière will animate downtown Joliette with the Holiday magic. During this period, the town heart will be dressed for the circumstance and shine brightly, inviting everyone to come and experience its unique fairy-tale atmosphere. The well-know Lanaudois group "La Volée de Castor" has accepted to be the Patron of honour for the 2011 edition of the event.

  Astonishing lighted decorations plus craftsmen's and producers' Village.

Overhanging all downtown streets during the event, the lights will create fascinating street decors unique in the province. It is in the Village des artisans, composed of 20 small wooden decorated shacks, that everyone will have the opportunity to meet craftsmen and terroir producers. It's a splendid chance to discover the flavourful products offered by the lanaudois producers: where quality will meet diversity. Further to that, the craftsmen and producers will greet you with various kinds of original gift ideas and product tasting.

The Village des artisans will be opened from Monday through Friday: from 11am to 8pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays: from 11am to 5pm.

Animation to suit every taste!

The Noëlies will present various choirs, story tellers and music shows, but also special workshops and performances. Children will be delighted to meet Santa Claus who will greet them every weekend afternoon of the event. Visitors will also have access to sleigh rides, animation, and craftsmen demonstrations. Let's not forget Santa's Parade on next Saturday December 10!
