Winter fun amateurs!  Let yourself be guided by the Northern winds. Come and join us for our winter FESTI-VOLANT in Grandes Piles, in the Mauricie region.  Situated half way between Montreal and Quebec city (90 minutes more or less), you will discover our enchanting village squeezed in between the majestic cliffs and the St. Maurice river.

For its 11th Edition, the Festi-Volant de Grandes Piles promises its visitors winter activities for the whole family : giant street slide in a river raft, leg powered snow sled, riverpath for walking or skating, snow sculpture, winter golfing mini-putt etc.  Colorful synchronized kite shows, motorized paragliding and wind tracted skiing.  A specially built Nordic village with its mongol yurt, snow igloos, winter tents and a large marquee where you will discover different exhibitors.

The frozen St.Maurice river becomes the playground for all wintersports.  Days of family-fun, a unique destination rapidly becoming the winter centerpoint of the greater region.

Grandes Piles is waiting for you either for a one day stay or more through its local B & Bs  

A parking contribution of 5$ is requested.  Food and beverages are available on the site
