Festi-Vent sur glace 2012

The Festi-Vent sur glace is the largest international winter kite festival of its kind in Canada.  The event takes place February 18 And 19, 2012 in Saint-Placide, in the Laurentians.  All kind of activities are found on the site, from skating to snow sliding, a stunt kite school for all, a soft play area for children, ride in an old Bombardier ski-doo, ice sail boat race, a night kite flight, local artists exposition and an artistic kite exhibit, and much more.  ''CREATE A WIND SCULPTURE'' contest, will reunite amateur and professional artists, in a race for glory and reward.
This year will offer an exceptional explosion of colors by kite experts, including one of the world's best ballet kiting team, The Red Bull Kite Force. You will also have the possibility to taste and buy products from local producers and artisans  n the heated big top.
