Accommodation in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean

You still don’t know where you will be staying when you visit Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean? We are glad to suggest you a list of accommodations which includes the best hotels, cottages and inns of the region, each of them offering a unique comfort and quietness. You will thus be able to find great lodging in accordance with your budget, the area you wish to visit or the package you are interested in. We’ll see you there!

Along the Fjord

Between Charlevoix and Manicouagan, the Saguenay Fjord is the navigable entryway to Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean. If you wish to enjoy this magnificent natural attraction, many inns and B&Bs stand here and there along the Fjord. In the city of Petit-Saguenay you will find 10 rooms at Auberge du Jardin and 37 chalets at Village-Vacances Petit-Saguenay. If the first impresses with its gourmet cuisine, the second likes to be described as a small Club Med. Also available in the same city: Auberge les 2 Pignons and Association Chasse et Pêche Petit Saguenay. Part of the Most Beautiful Villages of Quebec Association, L’Anse Saint-Jean and Sainte-Rose-du-Nord offer exceptional accommodations such as Les Gîtes du Fjord and Pourvoirie du Cap du Leste. As for the city of Ferland-et-Boileau, it is home to Domaine du Lac Ha! Ha!, a unique outfitter surrounded by nature.

City of Saguenay and its Surroundings

The city of Saguenay and its districts offer a vast number of accommodations. If you plan to stay in the Jonquière district, stop at Auberge les Deux Tours and enjoy one of its seven rooms. In the district of Chicoutimi, Hôtel la Saguenéenne, Le Montagnais Hotel and Convention Centre and Hôtel Chicoutimi will welcome you in a wonderful manner. The latter is a trendy boutique hotel which recently took a green turn and is now proud of its commitment to sustainable development by offering visitors the possibility to offset their greenhouse gases emissions during their stay. For a stay in the district of La Baie, we suggest you three cottages: Auberge les 21, Auberge des Battures and Auberge de la Grande-Baie. Each of these cottages offers you a wide range of packages which will suit your needs such as snowmobile, relaxation and romantic packages. You will also find inns and B&B in the cities of Saint-Honoré (Gîte du Lac Docteur) and Saint-David-de-Falardeau (Auberge du Barrage du Lac Onatchiway).

Around Lac-Saint-Jean

If you are planning to travel around the Lake Saint-Jean area, you will find some very comfortable inns and cottages. In Hébertville, Auberge Presbytère Mont-Lac-Vert is a former 1917 presbytery which has been transformed into a modern cottage. You will be charmed by the great architecture of the building preserved by the owner. If you decide to stop in Métabetchouan, you can stay at Maison Lamy; a small Victorian style inn. In Saint-Prime, Gîte du Lac Saint-Prime awaits you with four rooms. Finally, the city of Saint-Gédéon is home to Gîte des Milles Fleurs which is located in a charming family house.

All these establishments and many others await you during your stay in the welcoming region of Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean. The only thing left to do is to choose your area!
