On March 9th, 2008, the Laurentides region presents the 5th edition of its cross-country skiing festival. Each year, this important ski celebration welcomes several hundreds of participants who gather once a year to celebrate winter and cross-country skiing. Be one of the participants or come cheer them up.
We cannot go without mentioning the celebrations surrounding the 400th anniversary of Québec City, which will soon beginofficially began . The real “kick-off” will be on December 31. For the spring season, most of the activities presented for the 400th anniversary will be held inside. Museums, interpretation centres and concert halls around the city will present works of art exhibitions and stories about the development of Québec City since its foundation in 1608.

In the last Winter in Quebec issue, you can read about the Laurentides region. Winter sports and gliding sports had the place of honour, just like ice fishing and health cares at the different spas.
The Montérégie region had the place of honour in the last Spring in Quebec. Spring activities, museums and games where adrenalin is rising were only some of the broached subjects.
