Orgue & Couleurs is an organization that distributes and makes available classical concert music. It provides innovative and high quality events with amazing and diverse programming. This unique instrument has a colourful array of timbres and sound as music in all its forms of expression. The two major events by ORGUE ET COLOURS are the Fall Festival and Montreal Popular Concerts.
The 47th anniversary will be from June 30 to August 4, 2011. Montreal Popular Concerts will be held every Thursday at 7:30pm at Centre Pierre-Charbonneau and present a music series under the theme of diversity and excellence.
This summer series of symphonic concerts has been presented since 2003 by organ music and every year they receive a greater number of followers. This edition will offer six concerts in which three of them will be insured by the Orchestre Métropolitain, The programme also includes the Appassionata instrumental ensemble, La Sinfonia de Lanaudière and the Violons du Roy. Finally, it is with joy that the popular concerts in Montreal will host the gala concert of Canadian Music Competition with the Metropolitan Orchestra, under the artistic direction of the ambassador of the CMC, Alain Trudel. The 13th season of the Fall Festival will be held from September 23 to October 2, 2011.
