See, touch and feel the biodiversity!
A direct contact with many living species, a fun and educational tour in the forest aboard the biotrain and a great chance to discover the secrets of Lake St-Pierre, this is what you can look forward to when visiting the Centre de la Biodiversité, a unique interpretation center!
Accompanied by a dynamic and qualified guide, you will be meeting with Momo the skunk, our brand new 2011 resident, along with the river otters, the racoon, Quebec's largest fresh water turtle and many local and exotic fishes, reptiles, amphibians and arthropods.
Lake St-Pierre will be showcased in the movie "The Seasons of the lake" and the interactive activities of the sensory corridor. Highlighting the International Year of Forests is the exhibition "The Beaver: a surprising forest engineer".
A quick detour by the minifarm, a picnic or a moment of relaxation by the marsh and a stroll along the nature paths, on foot or aboard the biotrain, are all excellent ways to complete the experience.
The Centre de la Biodiversité, open everyday from 10 am to 5 pm, is well suited for both adults and children. Group packages are also available on reservation.
