A treasure tucked away in the heart of Old Quebec City, the Musée Bon-Pasteur (Good Shepherd Museum) tells the moving story of the Good Shepherd Sisters of Quebec, a Congregation closely linked to Quebec’s development since 1850.
When you visit the museum, you will discover a century of Quebec City’s little known social history from 1850 to 1950. Here, the city is presented as an industrial hub far different from that of the Plains of Abraham.
A wonderful way to discover another aspect of Quebec City!
As you visit the museum you can also admire heritage pieces, antique furniture and works of art from the Good Shepherd collection.
Located in a magnificent edifice built on rue Couillard during the last quarter of the 19th century, the museum is close to other well-known tourist attractions such as the Château Frontenac, the Basilique-Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Québec, and Place Royale.
The three floors of exhibits allow for group and individual visits. A warm welcome awaits you in a comfortable air-conditioned venue.
