We are a small company of excursion which is specialized in the observation of the whales from designed boats Zodiac type especially for this purpose, of a capacity of twelve passengers each one, which return the experiment more personalized.

Our mission is to make discover in the respect the whales and to sensitize people with the brittleness of the marine environment.

Our captains are trained to give you all useful information so that your experiment is most advantageous possible for you. We guarantee the satisfaction of our visitors and that is possible thanks to the size of our company which enables us to give a personalized service.

Where let us be us?

The Écumeurs du Saint-Laurent are based in Escoumins, a small picturesque village with accessible people located any meadows of Tadoussac, that is to say has approximately 2h30 drive from Quebec city on northern bank of the St. Lawrence. We are located in the tourist area Manicouagan. The area is full of attractions and various activities related to nature and ecotourism. Sea Kayak and river,various fishing excursions, visit of the Fjord of Saguenay, various centers of interpretations, on the marine environment, the whales, the salmon ect.

The blue whale

We have the chance considering the place in the park or we are located at the edge of the depp channel of the St. Lawrence to be able to observe the blue whales when they visit us, the largest alive mammal on planet, with sometimes its 30 meters length and its 120 tons, a few hundreds of individuals is still present in the whole world, it is a species very protected.

The common fin-back whale

The common fin-back whale, second larger whale with its 50 tons and its 20 meters length, it is often groups some and moves very quickly

The humback whale

The Sperm whale

Bélouga

Bélouga, this small white whale, permanent resident of the St. Lawrence is a protected species and its observation is very regulated.In the year 50 this whale was killed by human because we thought belouga was eating the fish spécies who was caught by fishermen, belouga was also use as a target for practicing for the war plane, belouga was also hunteds in the last century for his oil !! today authorithés give you a fine if we approaches them too near. We are the place in the world or Bélouga is present if at the south latitude. It is a whale which one generally observes in the far North.

Our boats,
