A Great Gathering Full of Emotion!
One of the leading events in the Montreal area gathering sport lovers from all ages and all levels, the Montreal Oasis Marathon is also Quebec’s largest running event.
This multidisciplinary event is open to everyone since it includes the famous 42 km marathon, a 5 and 10 km run and walk, a 40 km cycling event, a semi-marathon and even a 1 km mini-marathon for kids and their family. The itinerary of the Marathon, which goes through many of Montreal’s biggest attractions such as Île Sainte-Hélène, Île Notre-Dame and Old Montreal, will end inside Olympic stadium much like in the 1976 Olympic Games. The outstanding organisation of the Marathon offers participants entertainment along the course, an exclusive lane for runners, services every 3 km as well as all the necessary assistance at arrival including a rest area, food service, free massotherapy services, sport therapy services, showers and an official medal given to every runners who crosses the finish line.
Online subscriptions are now open for the 19th edition of the Montreal Oasis Marathon which will be starting on the Jacques-Cartier Bridge on September 13, 2009. See you on the starting line!
