You are invited to discover and taste local agri-food fine products !

On September 25 and 26, 2010 the 7th edition of the Rendez-vous des papilles will be held at the Public Market in Saint-Hyacinthe, the oldest food market in the province of Quebec (since 1830). During these two days of festive events, public at large is invited to come and meet the regional actors of the agri-food industry.

Promoting and inviting people to discover the diversity, quality and creativity of local agri-food fine products, the Rendez-vous des papilles offers to visitors unique opportunities to meet directly with the agri-food producers and catch some gastronomy tips with most renowned Chefs from Montérégie Region.

70 agri-food producers will be on site with food samplings to taste including cranberries, ciders, artichokes, chocolate, Muscovy duck, lamb, organic pasta, flavored culinary salts, smoked chicken, and more!

Cooking demonstrations, entertainment, contests, jazz & world music performers, conferences and learning workshops, are some of the interactive activities you will find on site, all free of charge!
