Fall at Parc de la riviere Doncaster
Fall is sure a particularly pleasant time to visit Parc de la Riviere Doncaster located in Ste-Adele with the vibrant colors and the beautiful river.
Don't miss our Fall Colors Festival by the end of September and beginning of October. The colorful trees are covered with fiery red, bright yellow and orange.
The park is open year round and caters to an array of summer and winter activities. It sure is nice to be out in the wilderness and the serenity of the Parc Doncaster, where you can walk along the stunning river for 3 km or hike in the mountain trails for 7 km. During your walk, you can stop to read, admire the sight or just relax and listen to what the marvelous environment offers you. Bring your family for a nice picnic under the sun or the shade of trees. Take a ride to the summit for a panoramic view of the valley of Ste-Adele. The park also has a lot to offer to bird-watchers, photographers as well as mushroom lovers.
Until September 20th, fishing is available along the river or at the fish pond. Thousands of trout are sowed every year.
In the winter season, we take advantage of the snow! You can either enter the enchanted forest which offers 10 km of trails for snowshoeing in the mountain or, for the walkers, the pleasant riverside 2 km is for you. The enjoyable sight along the river is changing daily in winter time.
At 50 minutes of Montreal and 6 km of St-Adele village, you will enjoy the peace and the beauty of the nature. See you there!
