And Why Not in Fall?

Quebec lake fallFall. For some people, it is only another season passing by once a year. For others, it’s a forerunner of winter, a proof that summer is unfortunately coming to an end. But for many others, fall means joyful colours in the trees, harvests, and even hunting. In short, people say it’s better to enjoy the mild weather before snow covers the ground of the province with its white blanket, thus allowing them to put on their stakes. Visit the tourism information bureau of your region to see all the possibilities.

Colourful Eastern Townships

Eastern Townships vineyardIn fall, the beautiful Eastern Townships region puts on its most beautiful colours and offers you its parks, paths, vineyards, orchards and vegetable gardens. By foot or by bike, the four national parks and the cycling paths put kilometres of paths at your disposal. In the orchards, apple picking has the place of honour, while vineyards invite you to sample the fruits of their work. As for the farms, they put out their kiosks with their fresh products to give you an appetite.

There are only three guides left to do, and we should be able to announce their release in the next Quebec’s Seasons issue.
